What is Roamless Numbers?
Roamless Numbers is a feature inside the Roamless mobile app that allows you to subscribe to an international phone number. You can use this number as a Caller ID to make and receive calls, and to send and receive SMS, including two-factor authentication (2FA) and one-time-password (OTP) messages. (Please remember that the Roamless eSIM is a data-only eSIM, so you do not get a designated phone number with the Roamless eSIM.)
How do Roamless Numbers work?
Roamless Numbers works from inside the Roamless app on a subscription basis. You choose the country from where you want to get your number, set up your subscription, and start using your Roamless Number right away. You can use Roamless Numbers as a Caller ID to make international calls, and to send and receive SMS messaging, including two-factor authentication (2FA) and one-time-password (OTP) messages. (Please note that you need to use the Roamless app with Roamless Numbers. You cannot use your mobile device’s default phone or messaging app with Roamless Numbers.)
Can I have more than one Roamless Number?
Yes. You can subscribe to as many different Roamless Numbers as you wish and use them in the Roamless app for calls and messaging. You have the flexibility within the Roamless mobile app to choose which number you wish to use to make calls and send SMS (i.e., as your Caller ID).
Can I cancel my Roamless Numbers subscription?
Yes. Roamless Numbers subscriptions auto-renew 3 days before the next period begins. If you have a monthly subscription, you can cancel it before the auto-payment for the following month is processed. For yearly subscriptions, you can cancel anytime before the next annual payment is processed. After cancellation, you can continue using your Roamless Number until the end of your current billing period. Please note that you will receive reminder emails before your subscription renewal is processed.
How long can I keep my Roamless Number?
Roamless Numbers subscriptions are renewed automatically. As long as you keep your subscription active with a valid payment method, you can keep your Roamless Number for as long as you need.
Do I need to make any other payments after I subscribe to my Roamless Number to use it?
Your Roamless Number remains usable as long as your subscription is active. Receiving calls and SMS on your Roamless Number is free. Making international calls and messaging other Roamless Numbers (Roamless to Roamless) is also free. However, if you wish to make in-app international calls or send SMS to non-Roamless numbers, you need to have Roamless credits in your account.
Do I need a Roamless eSIM to use Roamless Numbers?
No. You do not need a Roamless eSIM to use Roamless Numbers. To use this feature, you only need the latest version of the Roamless app, an active internet connection (via WiFi, your regular SIM, or the Roamless eSIM), and some Roamless credits. (Please remember that the Roamless eSIM is a data-only eSIM. It does not come with a designated phone number and it has no relation to your Roamless Number.)
